Haus Appenzell at the Sechseläuten parade

Appenzell Ausserrhoden was this year's guest canton at Zurich's Sechseläuten. Haus Appenzell was marching in the procession of the guilds on Sechseläuten Monday, 15.4.2024, with its own carriage together with the Silvesterkläuse of the Waisenhaus-Schuppel from Urnäsch as guests of the Zunft zur Schmiden. The appearance was characterized by a humorous alpine parade by the renowned Eastern Swiss wood sculptor Daniel Eggli, whose works can currently also be seen in the exhibition "Wooden" at Haus Appenzell.
