The Propstei St. Peterzell presents the film "Suddenly Homesick" (2019) as part of the exhibition "Die Nabel der Welt". The documentary, directed by our exhibition curator Hao Hohl, tells in impressive footage the story of a Chinese woman who encounters people, landscapes and traditions in the Appenzellerland region, with whom she falls in love and finds her home 8000 kilometres away from her birthplace.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker and artist Hao Hohl.
