The documentary film "Suddenly Homesick" (CH 2019), directed by our exhibition curator Hao Hohl-Yu, tells in impressive footage the story of a Chinese woman who encounters people, landscapes and traditions in the Appenzellerland region, with whom she falls in love and finds her home 8000 kilometres away from her birthplace.
Currently, screenings are taking place again, partly in the presence of the director and the producer.
